Modernization and expansion of Washington Middle School, reorganizing the campus around a new central courtyard and adaptively reusing existing buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Contributed to schematic design and planning concepts, including the central courtyard organization and adaptive reuse approach.
Helped produce and coordinate BIM-based architectural construction documents for a large educational modernization and expansion project.
Coordinated documentation with an external BIM production team, structural consultants, MEP consultants, and the broader project team.
Assumed day-to-day construction administration coordination during the construction phase, including RFIs, submittals, site observations, and project communication.
Assisted with FF&E and classroom furniture selection based on educator, owner, and stakeholder feedback.
Supported coordination between design intent, existing building conditions, consultant input, and construction-phase requirements.
