Life sciences teaching and lab building for Montana State University Billings. The project resumed after a multi-year funding pause and required significant budget realignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helped restart the project using existing schematic design documents, updated owner priorities, and revised budget requirements.

  • Led value engineering and space planning revisions to bring the project back within budget while maintaining essential teaching, lab, and support functions.

  • Helped prepare and coordinate architectural construction documents, including coordination with structural, MEP, lab, and specialty consultants.

  • Assumed day-to-day construction administration coordination during the construction phase, including RFIs, submittals, site observations, punch list items, and project communication.

  • Coordinated design intent, laboratory requirements, consultant input, owner needs, and construction-phase field conditions.

  • Led LEED Gold certification documentation and submittal coordination.
