Life sciences teaching and lab building for Montana State University Billings. The project resumed after a multi-year funding pause and required significant budget realignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Helped restart the project using existing schematic design documents, updated owner priorities, and revised budget requirements.
Led value engineering and space planning revisions to bring the project back within budget while maintaining essential teaching, lab, and support functions.
Helped prepare and coordinate architectural construction documents, including coordination with structural, MEP, lab, and specialty consultants.
Assumed day-to-day construction administration coordination during the construction phase, including RFIs, submittals, site observations, punch list items, and project communication.
Coordinated design intent, laboratory requirements, consultant input, owner needs, and construction-phase field conditions.
Led LEED Gold certification documentation and submittal coordination.
