Custom residence near York, Montana, designed as a long-term home and gathering place with steep roof forms, exposed timber elements, wood siding, and a site-responsive layout oriented toward views of Helena and the surrounding mountains.
Key Responsibilities:
Served as lead design professional and project manager during design and construction documentation.
Worked closely with New York based clients to develop the program, layout, site approach, and overall design character.
Prepared and coordinated architectural construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, details, and exterior documentation.
Helped position the residence on the site to respond to views, topography, access, landscape connection, and client goals.
Refined window and glazing locations to maximize views of Helena and the surrounding mountain landscape.
Coordinated design intent, material expression, documentation, and consultant input for a custom residential project.
