Contemporary cabin along the Dearborn River, designed as an elevated, compact retreat with a wrap-around porch and bridge connection to reduce site disturbance and frame views.
Key Responsibilities:
Served as lead design professional during the construction document phase.
Worked with the client to refine the building layout, wrap-around porch, and bridge connection between the garage and lower guest level.
Prepared and coordinated architectural construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, details, and exterior documentation.
Coordinated off-grid-capable systems, including solar, wind, and battery storage, with engineering consultants.
Coordinated exterior materials, including concrete log siding, cement-fiber panels, and metal roofing.
Developed documentation focused on site sensitivity, compact planning, exterior durability, and view orientation.
