Combined shop and house infill project in Helena’s 6th Ward, designed as a modern shouse on a constrained urban site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Served as lead design professional and project manager from early concept through construction documents and permitting.

• Worked closely with the client to develop the program, site layout, building organization, and overall design for a combined home and shop.

• Prepared and coordinated architectural construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, details, and permitting documentation.

• Led zoning and permitting efforts, including coordination and approval of three variances required for the project to proceed.

• Coordinated with the structural consultant on foundation design, site constraints, and related structural issues.

• Balanced client goals, zoning requirements, site limitations, constructability, and design intent for a compact urban infill project.
